  The month that began with us talking about nothing but the election, ended this morning with a slew of hot topics that ran the gamut from the "fiscal cliff" to SunRail safety, teacher unions and the "War on Christmas".  Thanks for the great calls!

On The Homefront

   The Budman's lookin' for the sympathy vote, as I make good on my promise to take my wife, Lynda to the latest "chick flick" later today. She's a huge fan of the "Twilight" series...devoured all the books at a thousand pages a crack..and has dragged me to all the movies! The last one (thank goodness) is out now, and that's where we're headed this afternoon, followed by dinner out. Actually, I don't mind the "chick flick" thing too much. You see, Lynda and I have a deal....she'll do action flicks with me, like James Bond ("Skyfall" is terrific, by the way!)..as long as I agree to do a "Twilight" with her now and then. It's the little things that help a marriage run smoothly, which ours has for 40 years now. My bride is God's very special blessing to the ol' Budman, and I love her very much.
