The Budman -"Super" Short On Sleep!

What I hope you agree was the most memorable Super Bowl of all kept the Budman awake into the wee hours of the morning. Now, that wouldn't be so bad except for the fact I get up in the wee hours of the morning to host our show!

Yaffee, Deb and Sarah were bleary-eyed, too from watching what will always be remembered as the "Lights Out" Super Bowl. Makes sense, because the victorious Baltimore Ravens played "lights out" in the first half. The lights at the Super Dome went out just after half time, and the San Francisco 49ers played "lights out" in the second half, staging a furious comeback  that fell just short.

I thought we'd get lots of calls about the game, but most of our listeners who phoned in wanted to join me in blasting Alicia Keys for her plodding rendition of the National Anthem that seemed to last longer than the blackout!

The Super Bowl commercials prompted some calls, and I'm posting the one below that impressed me the most. Jeep was the sponsor, Oprah provided the voice, and the two-minute spot, entitled "We Are Whole Again", paid tribute to our servicemen and women and their families praying for their safe return. Bravo to everyone involved in the moving and memorable production!
